You get 6 speed levels and it's advisable to check the depth level that's right for your skin type before you start as each level works differently. It's worth buying a good serum to go with it. You can get a bit red afterwards so I like to use a soothing cream after I've done it. It's only something I've been doing for the last few months but I really like how manageable it is. It's cheaper in the long run to use it than to go on treatments but it's also worth researching before using it. Good quality, great results, fairly easy to use and the instructions are simple to follow and I would recommend it.

This is a microneedling treatment that you can do in the comfort of your own home but you need to research and read the instructions that come with it before using it. This microneedling pen comes with 6 replacement cartridges, has 6 different adjustable speeds, is lightweight and easy to hold and use. You have to ensure proper hygiene when using microneedles. This device works very well and I am very happy using it. I highly recommend it.

This product is very well constructed and top quality. I was daunted by the thought of getting a tattoo on my skin. However, it is easy to install, and unlike tattoos, you can't go too deep with the needles. These are not painless. However, I found the pain to be bearable. The idea behind it is that it heals the skin and can potentially relieve wrinkles. There are multiple different needle settings you can purchase. I have only tried one treatment, so I haven't seen any substantial results so far. But I can say that regular treatments are doable, and if eliminating wrinkles and getting healthy skin is important to you, it is worth a try. What I can say is that this product seems to be well made and well thought out. The quality of the products and parts is very high and would be a great place to start if you are considering doing this treatment at home

Microneedling is the process of pricking tiny holes in the skin to help liquids absorb into the skin. The device looks like a large pen, and it's well made. The device allows you to adjust the depth of the needles via a dial on the tip of the grip. There is a button that controls the speed (how fast the needle moves forward/backward), which affects the absorption rate, and faster speeds are recommended for specific areas. First, after cleansing your face, place a small amount of dermabrasion into the disposable cartridge (1 use), adjust the depth of the needle, and select a speed. Then move the pen horizontally or vertically over your face. The instructions recommend using 'point pressure' which I assume means lifting the device off the face before applying to the next area, however there are many videos of other people moving the pen across their face in a smooth motion with no side effects and much faster. There is some pain, like small pricks on the skin. If the friction on your skin is too much or the pain is unbearable, serums and numbing gels can be purchased to reduce these sensations. Before use, it is recommended that you test on a discrete/small area to ensure you don't have an allergic or adverse reaction. One thing to note is that although 6 cartridges are provided, replacement cartridges can be quite expensive and are not as easy to buy as the older model cartridges. 10 cartridges cost around £30 which is quite expensive.

We tried microneedling for his receding hairline as he was a bit unhappy with it. This seems to be the automatic version and feels the same as those little rollers but has more features. I'll give it a few more tries to see how he gets on with it before trying it myself, but it seems like a nice little gadget.
