The build quality is obvious – sturdy tripod, separate lamp arms. The two wavelengths give flexibility: 660 nm for surface skin rejuvenation, 850 nm deeper muscle/joint care. I feel like I’m in a home spa.

I just turn it on, set the timer, and relax under the light while reading or doing light stretches. My hips and lower back feel looser and more comfortable. Very pleased with the investment.

The combination of 660 nm red light and 850 nm near-infrared light appears to be effective. The build quality is solid, and setup was straightforward. It's also suitable for home use, whether sitting, standing, or even while reading or watching TV.

Although I'm new to home devices, I'm not new to IR (or near infrared) therapy. I went to college in Wisconsin specializing in sports medicine and used a handheld device for a shoulder injury a long time ago. Today I have the ability to use the same technology at home. The purported benefits are far too long to list here, but professionals in the rehabilitation and physical therapy field recommend using IR because of its penetrating ability. I wanted to see if this device could provide me with the same treatment for my shoulder years ago, so I adjusted the 4 arms accordingly (2 in front and 2 in back) and then sat on the floor with my shoulder joint in the middle. I had heard that the heat sensation is achieved in about 10 minutes and I think that's about right, although it may have been more like 7 or 8 minutes for me. Then I can reset the timer to 30 minutes and let the near infrared lights do their work. I'm impressed with how easy this home treatment system was to set up and control.
