I gotta be honest, I’ve never done microneedling before and was legit terrified of trying it myself at home for the first time. If you are a newbie like me I recommend you go on Youtube and search for “Dr. Pen at home micro needling” so you will feel more comfortable with the process and will know step by step what to do. That’s what I did and it was very informative. I was even more scared when I saw the lady from the video using numbing cream on her face before the process because I don’t have any at home, but then reminded myself that after as many tattoos as I got there is no way the pain from micro needling could ever be any worse. And it wasn’t, just a little uncomfortable but can’t say it was actually painful. I was able to do a session on my face without any numbing cream and believe that would only be necessary if you have a low pain tolerance.I gotta say I’m impressed with the quality of this kit, and can tell for sure this will last me quite a while. Now will be looking forward to seeing some improvements in the next few months, and will try to schedule myself future sessions since I’ve now gotten more familiar with it and know that I can perform micro needling on my face myself without any help and without spending a fortune at a beauty clinic. Definitely recommend Dr. Pen and would hands down order more products from this brand!

Easier to use than I thought it would be..It's saving me a ton of money

I’ve had micro needling done in the spa before and when I saw this kit, I couldn’t wait to give it a try. I was nervous at first for doing it myself but I did apply over-the-counter lidocaine cream first. This is a safe and sanitary kit that uses fresh needles each time.

This can be intimidating at first. I recommend doing some research on proper microneedling technique and aftercare before using this at home. It's definitely more cost effective than having it done in a clinic. It's not terribly painful, but my skin was red after use. After skincare and a good night's sleep, the redness had faded considerably.

Great kit and great quality. Somewhat easy to use with a variety of tips which is nice. Durable and price point is decent for what you receive. Overall recommend.
