I had my face professionally microneedled a few years ago and had ok results but I couldn't afford to keep going back. I'm 60 now and life, hormones, and gravity are catching up with me. I never needed to do much to my skin until about 5 years ago but now I'm having a few skin issues (Rosecea, Adult Acne) as well as the expected wrinkles and some pores have enlarged in the last few years. So I'm starting to do more to help my skin...better late than never!

I've watched a ton of videos and while I was a little nervous I jumped in and gave it a go. I don't think I did too bad for a first attempt. Certainly doing the .75 depth isn't a walk in the park but I think it will work over time once I figure out what works best for my skin. Tried nano needling at .25 about 5 days later and that went well. Of course it will take 6 months of this to see what is permanent and what may be due to edema so we will see. I'll try to come back and update.

The pen is easy to use. The one-time-use cartridges snap on solidly (I hear some brands have issues with them coming off during use). It's easy to set the depth and speed. One charge should do at least 4 or 5 treatments.

All in all very happy I got this. I may not be able to stop the ravages of life but I can slow them down and have healthier skin at the same time! Since I've started my new regime I've had a lot fewer acne breakouts. That right there is a win!

I'm new to micro needling, so this was a weird technique to embrace at first. I read online that that some people say you don't even feel the needles. LOL. Not sure how that could be. You definitely feel them, as there is some very minor, but indeed pain involved. After 2 weeks, I do see positive results. My skin does look fuller and smoother after using it, but the aesthetic benefits tend to fade in between sessions. I think of it as my skin mildly getting inflamed from the needles, then subsiding as it heals. I haven't had any negative reactions, no redness etc, but I am diligent about sanitizing the needles after each use. It will be interesting to the results over a longer time frame.

This is so easy too use if you know how too do micro needling! I started with a fairly low setting for my first try, and it went well. To me, it is much easier and less painful than dermarolling. You have much more control, as the machine really does all of the work very quickly. I did not overdo it, just to see how my skin reacts over the next several days. I used a fairly simple hyaluronic acid serum while micro-needling, waited an hour, rinsed my face very well with just water, and reapplied the serum. I did not put anything else on my face for 24 hours. I had some redness and a bit of heat, but nothing like with Derma rolling. It was pretty much gone by the next day.I really like this micro-needling pen! It's very easy to use, it comes with everything you need, and it would make a perfect gift for someone seeking their very first one. I would definitely recommend it. I would watch a lot of videos though!!

 I really love this brand. Of all the micro needle systems I’ve tried I like their pens the best. The pen has a nice weighted balance to it. Metal construction. Nicely made. It’s quiet and doesn’t make a lot of noise. Works well. Of course with these type of micro needle pens you really need to know what you’re doing otherwise you can scar your face.

 The only thing I did not like is the slight discomfort when the speed increases however I love what it does to me skin. the microneedling pen does help replenish my skin to look younger healthier and better. Additionally it help clear the stuffiness in my nose reduced the sinus pressure in my face. I wasn’t expecting that at all. Pen is durable easy to use. The needles are packaged well and it comes with instructions.

I adore Dr. Pen, and while I have had much success using other brands too, this one is my favorite micro needling pen that I’ve used. It’s well made, it’s safe and effective when used with proper care, and it’s a sturdy, reliable piece of equipment which can completely revitalize the appearance, texture and quality of your skin. It can even help you look younger, as it helps build new collagen under the skin’s surface. My best piece of advice is to start out lightly. Slow & steady wins the race

I got this pen for my wife as a gift and it’s totally worth it. It’s easy to use, not painful and gave a fine result from the first use, expecting better results with time. The pen was well-maintained within the package.

The Dr. Pen Ultima m8 is well-designed and feels comfortable in your hand while using it. Before getting into action, its very important to clean your hands very well using antibacterial soap, or better use gloves. Also apply numbing cream for 30 min at least, then wash your face. Add a hyaluronic acid serum as lubricant and use the pen at your appropriate speed in 3 different directions, and I recommend using mask after the procedure, it will give you an even better outcome.

The pen cartridges are only 0.25mm, so its minimal penetration makes it very safe to use at home and expect some clinical result after several appropriate uses while saving both money and time.

When it comes to microneedling, Dr. Pen is the standard that you can depend on for a good, safe product. It is well made and safe to use providing you keep your pen clean.

If you are new to microneedling, start slow and light. Take it easy and gradually work your way up to what is a comfortable and more effective level for any given area of your face and body. One rule of thumb it to use much lighter penetration settings when using over boned areas and deeper penetration settings for fatty or soft tissue areas. Don't worry, it doesn't take a lot of study and practice to get this down. You'll quickly feel what's right for you and where. It's a quick study.

Easy to use and adjust and not difficult at all to change cartridges.

Microneedling will allow your facial serums or other skincare products to penetrate deeper into your skin which, in turn, gives you a better and deeper treatment. Depending on your skin and how you use this, you might get a little redness along your skin. That could be a sign that you need to lighten up a bit. For me, I'm not concerned about a little redness providing it goes away within an hour or so. As noted, it's easy to learn and adjust as needed.

One of the best products for microneeding. Ive been using regular derma roller for a couple years now. I dont use them as much as i should should, 1 treatment a year if that. This pen is definitely help me get back at it and step my game up. Its really heavy, sturdy and real good quality. Plus more hygienic Hopefully this gives me better results then my regular rollers.

 I really wanted to try this since I heard that while your skin is healing from these tiny pricks it also creates extra collagen, resulting in better skin quality and firmness, less lines and smoother skin.

I am at that age that I need it all.

I don’t have the time and don’t want the expense of doing this procedure at a spa.

While using it on your face you have different levels of vibration, and you can adjust your pressure you put on it as well, you can adjust the needle height by turning left to shorten or right to lengthen , I started off on level 1and very light pressure and as you get used to the feeling you can advance the pressure and level on your tool. I did not have any bleeding, just redness that subsided in a day or two.

I use it on a pretty light setting and am doing it once a week.

I have seen my skin heeling pretty quickly and have noticed the lines around my mouth are a little lighter already after 3 weeks.

I am excited to continue my use my needling pen and am happy seeing the results of less lines and smoother skin.

Great investment in myself ;-)
