When it comes to microneedling, Dr. Pen is the standard that you can depend on for a good, safe product. It is well made and safe to use providing you keep your pen clean.

If you are new to microneedling, start slow and light. Take it easy and gradually work your way up to what is a comfortable and more effective level for any given area of your face and body. One rule of thumb it to use much lighter penetration settings when using over boned areas and deeper penetration settings for fatty or soft tissue areas. Don't worry, it doesn't take a lot of study and practice to get this down. You'll quickly feel what's right for you and where. It's a quick study.

Microneedling will allow your facial serums or other skincare products to penetrate deeper into your skin which, in turn, gives you a better and deeper treatment. Depending on your skin and how you use this, you might get a little redness along your skin. That could be a sign that you need to lighten up a bit. For me, I'm not concerned about a little redness providing it goes away within an hour or so. As noted, it's easy to learn and adjust as needed.
