I had a solid black ink tattoo from my college days that I wanted gone. This laser pen has been very effective. I use energy level 7 and frequency 6 on the darkest areas. After 2 months, the ink is about 50% lighter. I'm confident it'll be completely gone with continued use. The pen is cordless, so I can treat it in front of a mirror easily. The goggles are comfortable and do the job. A worthwhile investment.

Perfect for failed permanent eyebrow removal

I had permanent makeup on my eyebrows that faded unevenly and looked terrible. I was told salon removal would be expensive and painful. This laser pen has been a lifesaver. I use it on a medium setting on the old pigment. It's been a few months, and the unwanted ink is almost completely gone. The fact that you can independently adjust both energy and frequency (1-9 each) is fantastic. I use low energy for smaller, delicate spots on my face and higher energy for older, darker spots on my arms. The frequency setting controls how fast the pulses fire.
