The 2.0 upgrade is worth it
If you're deciding between the 1.0 and the 2.0, get the 2.0. The wireless charging is a major quality-of-life improvement. I use the light every morning at my desk, and my phone charges while I work. The light itself is excellent—10,000 lux, fully adjustable. The timer (I use 40 minutes) is reliable. It's a fantastic device.
