A red flash during treatment is usually normal. This device uses red-light IPL technology, so the red flash means the IPL pulse is being emitted. Please make sure the flash window is fully touching clean, dry, freshly shaved skin, and start from Level 1. Do not use it on tanned, irritated, or broken skin. If the red light appears as an error warning, the device stops working, or you feel burning or strong pain, please stop using it and email a short video to [service@freyara.com](mailto:service@freyara.com) so our after-sales team can check it for you.  

Suitability depends on your actual skin tone, not ethnicity alone. Because this IPL model does not have a verified skin-tone compatibility chart, we do not recommend using it on dark brown or very dark skin due to the increased risk of burns or changes in skin pigmentation. For safer hair removal on deeper skin tones, please consult a dermatologist experienced with skin of color before purchasing.

Gel is not usually required. The standard procedure is as follows: First, shave the surface hair. Clean and dry the skin. Place the light-emitting window directly against the skin and use the device. After use, apply aloe vera gel, moisturizer, or soothing gel for post-treatment care.
