If you have melasma, we do not recommend using the RF head directly over the affected areas without first consulting a dermatologist. RF produces heat, and heat can sometimes worsen melasma or pigmentation in sensitive skin. You may still use the body functions on unaffected areas, but do not use the cavitation or vacuum heads on the face.
