The 24-pin or 36-pin cartridge is usually best for improving the appearance of enlarged pores and overall skin texture. The 24-pin offers a good balance for most facial areas, while the 36-pin provides more even coverage for larger areas. Start with a shallow needle depth and low speed, and always use a new sterile cartridge. Microneedling can help improve the appearance of pores over time, but it cannot permanently “close” pores.
