A “shot” means one activation of the HIFU probe, not one treatment session. When you press and hold the treatment button, the probe continues operating and this counts as one shot. If you release the button and press it again, another shot is counted. Therefore, 20,000 shots does not mean exactly 20,000 sessions. One session may use one or several shots, depending on how many times you stop and restart the probe. Each probe has a total capacity of approximately 20,000 shots and should be replaced once the counter is used up.
