I have me<x>tal fillings and have used items like this before (smaller & handheld) but they caused a lot of sensitivity when used on my cheek area going over my mercury fillings in my teeth. Does this happen with this machine?

If you have metal fillings, we do not recommend using this device on the cheek/jaw area.
The ultrasound energy may cause sensitivity or discomfort around dental fillings.
