There is currently no conclusive evidence that LED light therapy caps and low-level laser therapy (LLLT) can "cure" or specifically treat dandruff (seborrheic dermatitis). However, in some cases, they may have some positive effects on scalp inflammation and local skin conditions, but the effects are usually weak and inconsistent, and require combination with mainstream treatment methods.
