Microneedling has become one of the biggest beauty skincare options out there and is renowned for treating scars, micro pigmentation and the general health of your skin and its appearance. It works by inserting needles into the dermis layer of your skin (not too deep) to stimulate healing and recovery. I think it is very important to take the time to read the instructions and read up on general best practices before trying this device. The needles you are using will puncture your skin in multiple areas so you need to ensure you are using clean and hygienic practices to avoid infection or complications. The device is easy to use and you can adjust the settings to suit your preferences and the areas you want to treat. Make sure you use some kind of serum such as hyaluronic acid. I have been happy with this product so far and once I gain more experience and confidence using it this could save me thousands of pounds instead of going to the salon regularly to do this.

I have had it pretty easy over the years and have never had acne, just the occasional breakout. Never used a "cleanser", cream or facial treatment...and then I turned 42...and all of a sudden my 23 year old daughter stared at me and said "mom, give your face a break...like...with a blank look on her face" Um...ok. I couldn't help but frown and asked her why?! She said I just noticed you're starting to get wrinkles...panic!! Irreversible and now that she's seen it she'll continue to see more and continue to point them out. So, I decided I needed to do something fast. To be honest, the thought of using this treatment terrified me, but these "wrinkles" aren't going to disappear or go away like a pimple! This "wrinkle" thing requires some intervention to delay the inevitable. The instructions are clear, but if you want to see this in action, there are tons of videos available on social media platforms to familiarize yourself with the use of safe microneedling techniques.

This product is very well constructed and top quality. I was daunted by the thought of getting a tattoo on my skin. However, it is easy to install, and unlike tattoos, you can't go too deep with the needles. These are not painless. However, I found the pain to be bearable. The idea behind it is that it heals the skin and can potentially relieve wrinkles. There are multiple different needle settings you can purchase. I have only tried one treatment, so I haven't seen any substantial results so far. But I can say that regular treatments are doable, and if eliminating wrinkles and getting healthy skin is important to you, it is worth a try. What I can say is that this product seems to be well made and well thought out. The quality of the products and parts is very high and would be a great place to start if you are considering doing this treatment at home

Microneedling is the process of pricking tiny holes in the skin to help liquids absorb into the skin. The device looks like a large pen, and it's well made. The device allows you to adjust the depth of the needles via a dial on the tip of the grip. There is a button that controls the speed (how fast the needle moves forward/backward), which affects the absorption rate, and faster speeds are recommended for specific areas. First, after cleansing your face, place a small amount of dermabrasion into the disposable cartridge (1 use), adjust the depth of the needle, and select a speed. Then move the pen horizontally or vertically over your face. The instructions recommend using 'point pressure' which I assume means lifting the device off the face before applying to the next area, however there are many videos of other people moving the pen across their face in a smooth motion with no side effects and much faster. There is some pain, like small pricks on the skin. If the friction on your skin is too much or the pain is unbearable, serums and numbing gels can be purchased to reduce these sensations. Before use, it is recommended that you test on a discrete/small area to ensure you don't have an allergic or adverse reaction. One thing to note is that although 6 cartridges are provided, replacement cartridges can be quite expensive and are not as easy to buy as the older model cartridges. 10 cartridges cost around £30 which is quite expensive.

I have a few Dr. Pen microneedling devices and this is my favorite! By far! You never know what's going to come out next. It only gets better!

We tried microneedling for his receding hairline as he was a bit unhappy with it. This seems to be the automatic version and feels the same as those little rollers but has more features. I'll give it a few more tries to see how he gets on with it before trying it myself, but it seems like a nice little gadget.

I love using this pen because it's cordless and you can put serum into the microneedles. They have to be thin to come out but they work great.

This microneedling pen seems to work really well. I ordered this pen for my partner, neither of us are experts at it so had to do some research before trying it. It's easy to use once you get used to it and the instructions are clear. We're not sure how well it works long term yet, but so far she seems happy with it and will continue to use it weekly as long as we don't have issues. So far so good.

I love it and my skin is so much more hydrated after only 2 uses. Highly recommend!!!
