This is a great, little kit for anybody looking to improve the look of their skin. Derma rollers are great for the skin, and I’ve used them for some time now, but this derma pen is better, in my personal opinion. I love the way each tip is covered in a plastic baggie, so it’s a very sterile way to get your ‘glow on.’ No risk of infection, no need to continuously sterilize. That’s a great perk, to me.

It’s also cordless, so it’s very easy to maneuver in your hands, for safe and convenient microneedling treatments. It comes in a nice, sturdy box to store your tools in, and it would make a lovely gift for someone you know that is very into beauty. It comes with a good amount of needles, but if you run out - don’t despair! They are available right here on Amazon when in need of a refill pack.

These treatments cost up to hundreds of dollars in a dermatologist’s office. Just one treatment! Why do that? Watch some videos on You Tube, and you can learn how to safely do these treatments in the comfort of your own home, and save some really big bucks over time.

I’m very, very pleased with this machine. I can’t give any less then the best! $69.99 at the time of my review is awesome. It pays for itself and more, after one treatment. The price is very fair. The quality is very good, too.

The Dr. Pen Ultima N2 Microneedling Pen is the same one used by most professional beauty spas, and you can use this at home to achieve the same results. I have used Microneedling equipment from a couple of different makers, and I find the Dr. Pen to be a solid and reliable pen that I favor over the others. Do yourself a favor and look at several Microneedling tutorial videos here on the Dr. Pen Amazon product page or elsewhere before you do this at home. Microneedling literally pricks micro-sized holes in your skin to encourage collagen production and to directly insert beauty serums under the skin to make them more effective. The bad news is that with speeds ranging from 8000-16,000 pokes per minute with the included 12-point needle tip bayonet cartridges, you can hurt your skin, so exercise caution. The good news is that when done right, most dermatologists and cosmetic surgeons agree that you can get professional results at home with this procedure when used properly. Use on any body part including lips and under the eyes. The process does hurt, so you may want to invest in a skin numbing cream as well. Follow the highest sanitary and safety procedures for best results. Don’t push the pen too hard, and practice at settings below .50 to start. When you can handle the pain, go to deeper levels with the tip adjusting collar. This works great getting rid of acne scars and redness and large pores, and can also refresh lips. The Dr. Pen Ultima N2 comes with a set of 5 disposable bayonet cartridges and a USB charging cord and manual. Be sure to read the manual. It helps and watch the videos. For the cost of less than one professional treatment, this dandy little pen may become the one item in your beauty arsenal you cannot live without.

This is my second microneedling pen. I previously had gotten a knockoff brand that I was pretty pleased with, but wanted to try out a name-brand pen. I kept seeing Dr. Pen's name coming up on skin care forums so this pen was a reasonably priced option to try.

This pen is comfortable to hold which is a real plus for me. My other one is a bit bulkier in my hand, as well as heavier. It takes bayonet style microneedling cartridges which are readily available on Amazon. My generic needle cartridges also fit in this Dr. Pen device.

You can adjust the needle depth and speed on this device. This has a digital display for the speed which my other one does not so it's a lot easier to see. New users will want to start out with a shallow depth and lower speed and can later graduate to deeper and faster, especially for areas like the forehead. You need to make sure your face is washed, and it would be a good idea to go over your face lightly with alcohol to help make sure any surface bacteria on your skin is destroyed; you don't want the needles pushing gunk or bacteria into your skin. I then put hyaluronic acid on my face before microneedling to help get that serum in deeper to help hold moisture in my mature skin.

Do a bit of research on what will work best for you and I also recommend watching a youtube video on the use of the pen. You want to hold it lightly against your skin but don't press as well as keep it moving. On the light depth setting you won't feel much discomfort, but if you're especially sensitive you can also get a numbing gel to put on your face ahead of time.

I really like this pen as it's super comfortable for me to hold, but my off brand one performs just as well for a fraction of the price. Still, this is a nice name brand device that won't break the bank.

This is a very nice derma microneedle pen. It has an outer plastic shell construction but appears to be sturdy and well made. It is easy to use and works great for microneedling treatment. It works so much better than the derma rollers that I have been using. Instead of using rollers with different pin length, you have a single unit with adjustable pin length. It also fits better the highly curved contour around the nose, etc.

The derma pen uses a bayonet mount for the replaceable microneedle cartridge. It has a metal stepless adjustment knob just below the mount to set the pin length. It has 5 speed levels with a color-coded light indicator. The cordless design and the oval profile of the pen make it easy to hold and navigate.

The derma pen comes packaged in a plastic storage case inside the sealed retail box. It comes with 5 individually sealed 12-pin microneedle cartridges, charging cable and AC adapter, and user manual.

I'm really pleased with this derma pen. It works great for me and allows me to control the microneedling more precisely. It comes with 5 replacement cartridges to get started. Additional cartridges are currently available for around $2 per cartridge and there are other designs as well. Overall, this is a great derma pen starter kit. It is worth giving it a try. I really like this Dr. Pen Ultima N2 Professional Microneedling pen. It’s cordless and rechargeable. It’s durable and lightweight which makes it easier to hold. I have the Dr Pen Ultima M8. This pen is less advanced but works very similarly to the M8. Micro needling is excellent for most skin conditions. I’d suggest visiting a professional for a skin consultation first to understand what you should be doing. It’s very important to really understand what you’re doing before you start so you do not ruin or damage your skin. This pen is an excellent tool for home micro needling.

Love this electric microneedle. It allows even application all over your face with a sanitized needle.

I have used a manual roller on my skin for several years, as I am pro dermaroller (I strongly believe there are the extremes on both sides. My past experiences, both in and out of a salon (I had electric roller in salons) - I disregarded the instructions which looked bad (and other reviews have also affirmed).

I used on dry, alcohol sanitized skin, and followed with a serum. It did hurt a bit, but I also abide by the “no pain no gain.” My face was a little swollen for about 24 hours, and then slightly red for a few days but other than that, no noticeable difference. I did not use makeup the entire day and I would recommend waiting until the next day, regardless of whether you do it in the evening or morning - just let your skin sit by itself.

Pros to this type of treatment - sanitized, one use roller, quick, depth is consistent. It comes with it several needles if you wanted to share your machine with a family member, but I do not and I just change the needle each time I use

Due to my consistent use of a dermaroller, I don’t expect any mind blowing results as the results take time and consistency to use - much of which I’m already getting. However, I will definitely continue use. My goal is once a month (allows my skin time to heal between treatments), although I don’t always make that goal.

I have normal to dry, slightly acne prone skin. I am a white female prone to melasma and hyperpigmentation.

This microneedling pen is perfect for at home use. It's great for uneven skin tone, acne scars, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, stretch marks and more. I've used it once on my face so far and have noticed some of the hyperpigmentation on my cheeks starting to lighten up after 4 weeks of healing. I know it'll take more sessions, but I'm optimistic that with consistent use (about once a month) and a good quality serum, I'll definitely see more results. Overall, it's easy to use and can also be adjusted to your pain tolerance. Definitely recommend.

First this pen does more than just vibrate. It does move up and down, it just goes so fast that you can not tell. I bought one once off the auction site. It was a knockoff, only vibrated and did more damage than good. Professionals use and trust this pen! Anyway, because this pen moves so fast it may make gliding along the skin more difficult so I highly recommend a gel or hyaluronic acid. I also recommend lidocaine. You are essentially stabbing yourself hundreds if times. These little tears produce collagen, plumping skin and repairing it. It helps wrinkles, redness, acne and stretch marks. Don't expect results overnight, though. This takes patience and persistence. I've used rollers and manual wands for years. When I have stuck to it, I have seen huge improvements in my stretch marks. No, they will never go away, but they have shrunk and are thinner and not as deep. This pen will help new ones fade faster too. This pen is magical because it does the stabbing for you so fast you don't notice. Taking a roller to your face is hard, and many give up. This pen is portable and wireless which is fantastic. I hate cords but if it does die, you can also use it plugged in. It has six speeds, and you can adjust the depth to the area you are treating. Follow the recommendations, going too deep on your face can cause damage you don't want. This pen is well made. Each needle tip comes individually wrapped for hygiene. They are also easily bought on Amazon. If you have been looking for a derma pen, don't waste your money on the other ones!
