This is my second microneedle device from Dr. Penn. The first one I thought was really nice and professional looking. It worked well. This one however is way nicer. I love that this closet with a case and even a little sleeve to put it in. This company really has good quality products.
This is a professional type device. If you do not have experience and know how to use this then I would not recommend trying it out on yourself for the first time. You can permanently scar your skin if you do not know how to use this device properly.

I had previously used the Dr. Pen Ultima N2 with great results and this Ultima M8 doesn't disappoint. The M8 has a premium build and quality feel to it. The rounded body is comfortable to grip. The adjustment barrel has a gradual, tactile feel to it and a range from 0 to 2.5 mm to finetune. The 6 speed selection is handy for different parts of the face. It runs smoothly and quietly as well.
The derma pen uses a bayonet mount system for the microneedle cartridges. It is sturdy and easy to use. A total of 8 cartridges are provided: one pair for each of the 4 different pin-counts. They come individually sealed in sterile packages. They are quality cartridges as expected.
The pen comes with a charging cable and a USB power adapter. It also comes with a sturdy, plastic case with a clear top lid for organizing the pen, charging cable and power adapter plus any unused cartridges. A fabric sleeve bag is provided for the pen as well.
Overall, I'm really pleased with this Ultima M8 starter kit. It comes with everything you need to get started including 8 cartridges in different pin-counts. The pen is sturdy and solidly built. It is easy to hold and works great. Very good precision as well. I would recommend it. Good product.

Read the instructions, start slow, I wouldn’t use this more than once every two weeks it’s strong and shouldn’t be used by kids. I haven’t noticed any difference from my first use but give it time and I’m sure I will. Nice packaging and comes with needles separate for a sanitary experience every time. Make sure skin is clean. Quality Product nice weight to the machine so it definitely doesn’t feel cheap.

Wow! I am crazy impressed with this!
In the past I have only used the roller type micro needling products which are typically not very effective due to the short needle length which is never enough to make discernible changes - this is very different as you can adjust the speed, needle depth or number of needles depending on the cartridge you pick.
I used it on my face and chest - you definitely feel it and it may be a little too intense for sensitive skin. I built up to a longer needle ( achieved through a twisting action ‘mid pen) and faster speed and found it’s harder to tolerate on area that sits over bone such as cheekbone and forehead. My skin felt a little tingling afterwards and definitely a little sensitive but I immediately applied a serum as the skin is supposed to absorb more in this state.
It comes with USB and plug as well as a storage box and selection of needles that are sealed! I love this thing and threw out my roller needle as this is so much better!

I have used this 3 times and it has made a noticeable improvement on my skin. Some minor scarring I had is gone!

Happy with purchase. Seems to be well made and works quite well. Do homework before using as I think good results can be achieved however if done incorrectly or using or not using certain products before, during, or after can have negative consequences. So if careful this could be a nice item to have long term for facial care.

I have only had it about two weeks. So far...I love it. There are others that were less expensive. This one has the adjustments needed. It's a really easy tool to use. I hope it lasts. It seems to be built well. No issues with charging or recharging.

I just got this after getting a facial that also used micro needling pen with great results.
I didn’t use it correctly the first time, had the needle set for deep on areas that should not have been so deep so my forehead was very sore. The second time was a charm. I like how my skin glows ( THE NEXT DAY) it’s very red after using it. Will continue to try it out but so far so good
